During the 5 years of the competition 793 students from 16 universities of Ukraine participated in it, who developed 310 projects. This year, the UCSS signed cooperation agreements with construction universities in Ukraine, enlisting the support of management and faculty, who will consult the participants at the project development stage, acting as team curators. The competition project can be presented to students for protection as a coursework, supervisory or reporting work within the educational process.

It’s a reality that is up to you. I want to draw your attention to a few important things. Architecture is beautiful, constructive is difficult, but then engineers come in and drastically change things that don’t fit into physics. Therefore, I will very much ask you to join the engineer team. And another thing to remember is that any architecture will sooner or later turn into money, so all bold ideas must be offset by a useful feature that does not hurt to pay money. Good luck, boldness! Contest conditions:
The competition is attended by students of 4, 5 and 6 courses in the specialties: architecture of buildings and structures, industrial and civil construction. The number of participants in the team is from 1 to 5. The participants of the competition should be offered original conceptual solutions using steel structures in accordance with the terms of reference. The 2019 STEEL FREEDOM competition begins on September 1st. Registration of participating teams is held from September 1 to September 30. Project submission deadline is November 6, final of the competition is November 30, 2019.
